The variety of blocks and all kinds of perks opens up a good scope for imagination: in Terraria you can build almost anything, starting from Rapture at the bottom of the ocean and ending with Captain Shepard’s “Normandy”. They bring in some diversity and the element of the unexpected that make the game even more fascinating. There are also events like a meteorite fall, an eclipse, slug rains and a red moon (not to mention Halloween and Christmas). Here you have no friends: any creature, except for the NPC, will struggle to desire your death, which makes the game very difficult, especially at the initial stage. By the way, the whole map can be dug up clean! All these resources are going to come in handy very soon… Craft and fight!

However, you are guaranteed to spend most of the gameplay underground, mining ores, from ordinary iron to chlorophyte. If you are more into exploration and crafting, there is a lot to see! Forests, tundra, jungle, heaven, dungeons, corruption, holiness, dungeon and even Hell – you will get a chance to visit everywhere as you progress. So you can focus on simply walking around, enjoying the views, collecting resources and seeing what you can do with them. The first thing you do is create a character (there are a lot of personalization settings for this piece of pixels in the game), then create your own world (large, medium, small) – and off you go! If you start upgrading your hero from scratch, then you will not go through the final boss very soon, and bosses here, oddly enough, abound. And if you want to discover something new in this sphere, you should definitely try Terraria! There is a huge pixel world waiting for you where you can embark on crazy adventures, build anything and collect all the gold of the underground! Explore and upgrade! Starting from Minecraft, they attract players with their charmingly clumsy graphics and lots of possibilities, especially in crafting.

Pixel sandboxes has long become a separate genre.
